Innovation and creativity are the lifeblood of transformational leadership, driving adaptability, problem-solving, and long-term organizational growth. This article explores how leaders cultivate cultures of innovation through psychological safety, recognition, and collaboration, alongside the strategic use of creative methodologies such as brainstorming, design thinking, Six Thinking Hats, and SCAMPER. Drawing on case studies from Google, 3M, IDEO, and Apple, it demonstrates how visionary leadership, structured experimentation, and inclusive engagement lead to breakthrough outcomes. Barriers such as resistance to change and lack of resources are analyzed with practical solutions including communication, stakeholder inclusion, and continuous feedback. The article bridges theory and practice by integrating creativity research with leadership frameworks, offering academics a conceptual synthesis and practitioners concrete strategies for embedding innovation into organizational systems.
