A novel SnO 2 -QDs/CuO nanocomposite, with CuO as base and SnO 2 as modifier, is used for NO 2 (20 ppb to 1 ppm) and H 2 (10–250 ppm) sensing at 100 °C. The presence of p–n heterojunctions facilitates charge transfer and increases sensitivity.
