This paper analyzes the traditional wooden churches of Polimlje, comparing them with the modern wooden church in Tasići, near Višegrad. The aim is to highlight the continuities and innovations in folk church architecture through spatial organization, materials, and symbolism. Through the analytical approach, the importance of preserving authentic forms of folk art and their reinterpretation in a contemporary context is emphasized.
