A069: Visual Analysis of Tourism Resources Research on Sports Events in China in the Past Ten Years

Using CiteSpace for visual analysis, this study aim to systematically the research status of China's sports event tourism resources in the past decade, clarify the development trajectory, accurately locate hot topics, and predict the future frontier trend, so as to provide theoretical reference for the development and development of China's sports event tourism resourcesdeepen the understandingof sports event tourism resources research field. Method: In this study, CiteSpace 6.3.R1 was used to process the integrated data. Parameters were set as: (1) Time Slicing was set as January 2014 to December 2024; (2) Node type (Institution) was set as co-authors, institutions, and keywords; (3) The node filtering method uses the g-index algorithm to set the threshold. Through visual analysis of the effective literature after screening, the research trends, hot spots, and future development trends in the field of sports tourism resources research in China in the past ten years were obtained. The research findings are as follows: (1) The research dynamics of sports event tourism resources are multi-disciplinary, and the number of published documents is phased growth and fluctuation. (2) The research focuses on emerging research fields such as the integration mechanism of sports events and tourism, the development of tourism destinations for sports events, and the experience and behavior of tourists; (3) Future research trends mainly focus on cutting-edge trends such as technology integration and innovative application, cross-regional cooperation and development, and tourism of niche and special events. In the future, the research and practice of tourism resources for sports events can be carried out from the following perspectives:(1) From the perspective of ecology, green sports event tourism may become an important trend of tourism development in the future. (2) From the perspective of consumer experience, more attention will be paid to the exploration of sports event tourism resources and the vertical extension of market space in the future. (3) From the perspective of industrial integration and value chain, deepen the penetration and integration of sports and tourism, health care, research, culture, and other industries in all aspects and angles, and realize the multidimensional value of the tertiary industry.
