This novel theory of physics, named Duality Theory of Reality, is a new foundational framework with an unusual starting point: not particles, not fields, but the oldest riddle of all—how something can ever stand against nothing. By treating absolute nothingness and absolute somethingness as impossible extremes, the theory opens a precise middle ground: a dual substrate whose oscillation becomes the engine of manifestation, through which the mystery of consciousness is also resolved. From ontology to mathematics, the work grows into a full theory: space and time are not assumed but derived; events are not continuous but quantized; infinities and singularities fade as artifacts of an outdated continuum. Classical “fields” are replaced by a discrete relational scaffold—the Du-lattice—where structure emerges as a collective pattern rather than an imposed background. Within this framework, several long-standing puzzles—from Zeno’s paradox to the core problems of quantum mechanics—are reinterpreted and resolved at the level of mechanism. Cosmology gains a cleaner foundation as the theory derives a vacuum-energy-scale density of6.2080 × 10⁻¹⁰ J m⁻³. Along the way, the theory makes striking claims about motion, information, and the nature of matter. It reveals the true “stuff” of particles—the ultimate atom of Dalton. This presentation deals with foundational principles, dark energy, and aspects of cosmology, primarily the Big Bang. The coming parts will address almost the whole of theoretical physics, step by step. In the process, a new branch of mathematics emerges: Reality Mathematics of Duality.
