Introduction: Timely tracking of stroke metrics is vital for optimizing care in accredited Comprehensive Stroke Centers, which must monitor critical times such as door-to-needle and door-to-groin. Traditional data collection methods are prone to inconsistencies and delays, limiting real-time performance monitoring and quality improvement. This study aimed to develop and implement a standardized SharePoint™ and Power BI™ system to streamline data entry, automate turnaround time calculations, and support performance tracking—enhancing stroke care efficiency and resident accountability. Methods: A custom SharePoint™ list was designed to capture time-stamped data on critical stroke activation intervals, including door-to-needle and door-to-groin times, as well as other relevant metrics. Formulas embedded within the list automatically calculated turnaround times, ensuring consistency and accuracy in reporting. Power BI™ integration provided dynamic dashboards and real-time visualizations, enabling stroke teams to monitor trends and assess individual performance. A key feature of the system is the Physician Summary Card (Figure 1), which consolidates individual efficiency metrics for physicians as data is inputted into the SharePoint™ list. This tool allows for targeted feedback and supports quality improvement initiatives. Results: From January 2020 to December 2024, a total of 2,467 entries were recorded. Automated turnaround time calculations ensured uniformity, and Power BI™ visualizations offered actionable insights for performance optimization. The Physician Summary Card (Figure 1) provided a comprehensive view of each physician’s efficiency, supporting educational and performance feedback. The system’s ability to identify trends, optimize workflows, and facilitate data-driven decision-making contributed to improved stroke care processes. Conclusion: The implementation of a SharePoint™-based solution for tracking and analyzing code stroke metrics represents a significant advancement in standardizing data collection, ensuring compliance with accrediting bodies, and supporting performance improvement. The integration of Power BI™-generated Physician Summary Cards has enhanced individual performance tracking, offering real-time insights that contribute to better outcomes in stroke care.
