Abstract Anthropometry is the scientific field focused on measuring human body dimensions, originating in the 19th century as a method employed by physical anthropologists to explore the variation and evolutionary patterns of both modern and ancient human populations. In complete denture fabrication, anthropometric measurements are vital for determining the vertical dimension of occlusion in edentulous patients lacking pre-extraction records. Similarly, in Removable Partial Dentures’ fabrication (RPDs), these principles ensure the aesthetic replication of natural teeth. Modern prosthodontic practices like veneering, smile designing and implantology integrate functionality and aesthetics, relying on anthropometric parameters for natural and harmonious outcomes. Beyond dentistry, anthropometric records are integral to advancements in artificial intelligence, forming the foundation for innovations across diagnostics and treatment planning.
