The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the structural transformations of the national insurance market in the context of external constraints. The research methodology is based on the synthesis of industry statistics data, the use of the hypothetical-deductive method and scientific forecasting tools. Key problem areas have been identified: a reduction in the share of external reinsurance to 12%, a decrease in information transparency due to changes in the reporting format, a shortage of reliable investment assets and systemic limitations in the CTP segment. The scientific significance of the work lies in the development of a theoretical model for the adaptation of the insurance sector, which provides for the integration of artificial intelligence into underwriting processes, the development of cyber insurance, the digitalization of health insurance and the optimization of company capitalization. The results obtained confirm the ability of the Russian insurance market to transform in the face of crisis phenomena and determine strategic guidelines for the further development of the industry.
