Abstract

Abstract Regioselective methods have been developed for the synthesis of previously unknown 2-functionalized 2,3-dihydro1,3thiazolo2,3- b 1,3benzothiazolium and 2-1-(chloromethyl)organylsulfanyl-1,3-benzothiazole derivatives in high yields on the basis of reactions of 2-(chlorosulfanyl)-1,3-benzothiazole with linear and cyclic alkenes and dienes.
