A 53-year-old woman with a history of Sjögren’s syndrome presented with an eight-year history of slowly enlarging pink papules that progressed to intermittently draining, tender red-brown nodules, coalescing into plaques on the left posterior upper arm. Fresh lesional tissue biopsy identified rubella genotype 1A, matching the vaccine strain received by the patient.
Pastukhova et al. (Thu,) studied this question.
