Modern psychology is dominated by psychologization: repeated outcomes are interpreted as traits, identities, meanings, or moral failures. This produces narrative density but weak structural leverage. Autological Psychology is a KOGNETIK domain instantiation that treats human psychological life as a recursive system: a system that repeatedly re-applies its own generative rules, thereby creating recurrence (R) and—under sufficient constraints and load—structural change (ΔS). The framework distinguishes state variability from structural mutation via a strict Rule–State Separation Axiom (RSSA), defines structure (S) without semantic grounding, and introduces operational criteria for when change is formally admissible as mutation rather than fluctuation. The law Ψ = ∂S/∂R is assumed as law-grade; this paper provides a measurement discipline and intervention grammar for private systems: how to map recurrence, infer candidate rule-anchors, detect load regimes, insert minimal rule mutations (Kognems), and test local structural change under falsifiable protocols. The result is a perspective shift: from “what I feel” to “what rules generate what repeats,” from “who I am” to “what system I run,” and from “trying harder” to “structural sensitivity management.” Autological Psychology does not provide therapeutic claims, moral instruction, or motivational prescriptions. It provides an operator-complete language and workflow for structural diagnosis and minimal, testable rule intervention in human systems. Process, not state:Reflexivity specifies a transformation rule rather than a content or level. Domain-independent operator:Applicable across biological, cognitive, artificial, social, industrial, and geophysical systems. Non-ascriptive and empirically testable:Ψ enables comparative analysis of systems via observable structure and recurrence. Higher-order phenomena as specifications:Learning, adaptation, consciousness, governance, and identity are structured regimes of Ψ.
