This poster summarises findings from NAIF Project Track 1 on the responsible use of quantitative scientometric indicators (QSI) in Swiss higher education institutions. It presents outcomes from the 6th SYoS workshop with 27 stakeholders and outlines a forthcoming qualitative survey. The poster highlights increasing alignment with DORA, CoARA, and the Leiden Manifesto, while emphasising ongoing challenges in translating these principles into practice. Key insights address the importance of data quality, the shift from individual to organisational assessment, and the need for transparent, context‑driven metric use. The work contributes to developing national guidelines supporting fair, expert‑informed and standards‑aligned research assessment across Switzerland.
