Structural Origins of Exponential Persistence I (SOEP) develops a minimal axiomatic framework showing that exponential persistence scaling arises as a structural consequence of openness, metastability, constraint geometry, and multiplicative survival aggregation in open dynamical systems. The work demonstrates that effective stochastic forcing, large-deviation escape structure, quasi-stationary behavior, and exponential survival laws emerge generically under these conditions, providing a structural foundation for a broader persistence universality theory.
