We conducted bending shear experiments on five test specimens to apply precast pile caps to the steel foundation beam construction method and to verify our previous proposed formulas. In each specimen, we confirmed that there was no rapid loss of horizontal resistance after the yielding of each rebar and maximum load, and we organized the effects of various parameters on the maximum load. Additionally, we presented the characteristic strain distribution of the main reinforcement. In the comparison of experimental results and calculated values, we were able to demonstrate the validity of the proposed formulas.
