The importance of identity politics in India has been influenced by the rise of lower castes, gender, religious identities, linguistic groups, and ethnic conflicts. The propensity of people who belong to the same race, religion, ethnicity, social group, or culture toIdentity politics is the practice of forming exclusive political alliances to advance personal agendas separate from those of a larger political group. Identity politics aims to assist those who are marginalized.By assisting communities in realizing what they have, they can regain greater political freedom and self-determination. what distinguishes them.
