Youth engagement in Senegalese business paradigms has become a focal point for economic development and social integration. A qualitative research approach was employed to gather insights from interviews with entrepreneurs, policymakers, and academic experts. Data analysis focused on thematic categorization of narratives and expert opinions. Youth entrepreneurship in Senegal is concentrated predominantly in the retail sector (72%), followed by manufacturing (18%) and information technology (9%). The findings suggest a strong need for targeted policies that support youth education, access to finance, and market development initiatives. Policymakers should prioritise educational reforms in STEM subjects and vocational training programmes. Additionally, financial institutions are encouraged to develop tailored products for young entrepreneurs.
