This study examines regional economic blocs in South Africa, focusing on their performance over a specific period. The research employs quantitative methods for data collection and analysis, utilising existing socioeconomic data from South Africa's Department of Trade and Industry. A notable finding is the significant disparity (50%) in Gross Domestic Product growth rates between the blocs over the study period. The regional economic blocs exhibit distinct patterns of development, with some experiencing substantial growth while others face persistent challenges. Policy recommendations include targeted investments and collaborative efforts to support underperforming regions.
