In the preceding work, The Solar-Terrestrial Discharge Event: A Unified Model for the Younger Dryas Climate Anomaly (Roland, 2026), we proposed a macro-hypothesis connecting the rapid melting of the North American Ice Sheet, the specific selectivity of the megafaunal extinction, and the cross-cultural universality of "sky" mythologies. That work established the "Plasma Bowl" and "Z-Pinch" concepts as the primary engines of the catastrophe. This monograph, Volume I, serves as the first in a series of targeted inquiries intended to rigorously expand upon the physical mechanisms introduced in the Unified Model. While the original paper provided the breadth of the event, this document provides the depth, specifically addressing the solar origin of the projectile, the magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) of the atmospheric breach, and the thermodynamic principles of the initial impact.
