A new genus of the family Annuliconchidae, Mazaevella gen. nov, is described from the Gzhelian-Sakmarian of Cisuralia, the Western Urals and Pechora Basin. The new genus differs from other genera of the family in the dominance of radial ornamentation in the spaces between comarginal ridges. The type species M. placunensis (Koschman in Nelzina, 1958), comb. nov. is redescribed, and a lectotype is designated. The stratigraphic references of the occurrences are detailed. Representatives of Mazaevella gen. nov. are known only from reef facies and are endemic to the Paleo-Ural Strait.
