Abstract

This ledger contains the 1909 to 1913 meeting minutes of the Executive Board of the University of Montana in Missoula (also referred to as the Local Executive Board of the University of Montana). Prominent members of the Board included the university president as chairman, J. B. Speer as secretary, and two local community leaders. As evidenced in this ledger, Clyde Duniway served as university president and Executive Board chairman until his dismissal in 1912. Edwin Craighead was his successor. The two local leaders that served on the Board between 1909-1913 were Major A. L. Duncan and J. H. T. Ryman.
