Since it is impossible to guarantee the quality of any system without sufficient supervision, clinical pharmacy has become one of the newest and least explored areas of pharmacy in the twenty-first century. Clinical pharmacists on medical rounds could help doctors optimize their pharmacotherapy. Good manufacturing practices, the acquisition, preparation, and distribution of pharmaceuticals, the reporting of adverse drug reactions (ADEs), and other aspects of patient healthcare services are all included in this new profession in India. Over the past few years, clinical pharmacy in India has undergone significant, encouraging, and transformative changes. Hospitals themselves have begun to recognize the value of clinical pharmacy and have taken efforts to make it feasible, albeit in their infancy. In terms of patient care services, the clinical pharmacy branch of pharmacy is undoubtedly reaching new heights, which has undoubtedly improved patient satisfaction and services.
