This work presents a speculative framework on the possible evolution of artificial intelligence beyond the current tool-based paradigm. Instead of focusing on short-term technological capabilities, the paper explores long-term structural transitions that may occur when intelligence systems evolve beyond purely instrumental functions. Through a series of conceptual analyses and structured reasoning paths, the study proposes the possibility of a “Free-line Intelligent Civilization”, in which intelligent entities may operate under different evolutionary constraints than human-centered technological systems. The purpose of this work is not to provide definitive predictions, but to construct a conceptual map that may help future discussions on AI evolution, autonomy, and civilizational structures.
