Technical proposal for a passive slag capture system using textured silicon carbide (SiC) rings, applied to alumina-based solid rocket motors. The system is designed to trap molten Al₂O₃ particles downstream of the combustion zone through inertial impact, viscous adhesion, capillary action in micro‑grooves (20–100 µm), and subsequent solidification. Aimed at improving efficiency and nozzle lifespan in solid propellant motors such as those developed by CITEDEF (ORION, ESCALANTE). Estimated Isp improvement: 8–12%.
