This paper introduces the Land Production Value (LPV) framework: a theoretically grounded, mathematically consistent method for comparing agricultural land productivity across crop types and management systems. LPV normalizes temporal heterogeneity through domain-specific formulations for horticulture, perennial crops, and grain systems, serving two simultaneous purposes: asset accounting of cultivated land as productive capital, and decision support for crop selection and land allocation. Applied to 12 Indonesian crops using 2025 market data, the framework reveals structural productivity hierarchies that invert conventional policy priorities. Eighteen theoretical extensions address agricultural risk and resource constraints including water architecture, Land Asset Value (LAV), Risk-Adjusted LPV, Capital Intensity Index, Labor Intensity Index, Climate Sensitivity Index, Soil Quality Index, and Portfolio Optimization.
