ABSTRACT Congenital hemangiomas (CHs) are benign vascular tumors present at birth and categorized into rapidly involuting, non‐involuting, and partially involuting subtypes. They usually follow a benign course and may be associated with mild complications such as ulceration, pain, or localized thrombosis. Thrombosis is typically self‐limited and local, and can be managed without systemic anticoagulation therapy. We report a pediatric patient without systemic coagulopathy who has a CH with thrombosis leading to total necrosis and near‐complete regression.
