Nigeria is experiencing a significant health system challenge in its rural district hospitals, where patient outcomes are suboptimal. A DiD model will be applied to assess the impact of implemented interventions on patient outcomes, employing data from baseline and post-intervention periods across multiple district hospitals. The analysis revealed an improvement in diagnostic accuracy rates by 15% among patients treated in intervention hospitals compared to those in control hospitals. This study provides evidence that the DiD model can effectively measure risk reduction in health system interventions, offering a robust method for future evaluations. Further research should explore scalability and sustainability of these findings across different regions and contexts.
