The purpose of this research is to analyse the students’ perceptions of employability in the Interdisciplinary Module Activities from the bachelor’s degree in pedagogy at the University of the Basque Country (EHU). The study is framed in the context of the educational reforms derived from the European Higher Education Area and the UPV/EHU’s i3 educational model. A mixed methodological approach is used, combining quantitative techniques such as questionnaires, and qualitative techniques such as interviews. A total of 179 questionnaires were obtained, and 14 interviews were conducted with students, obtaining a comprehensive view of the students’ perceptions of employability. The results reveal a positive rating of the interdisciplinary activities as a space for learning by bringing academic theory into contact with professional work. The findings also highlight the suitability of this structure for developing employability competences such as teamwork, reflective thinking, and written communication. In conclusion, these activities are effective strategies for fostering employability competences. That said, the organisational and methodological mechanisms underpinning the development of Interdisciplinary Module Activities must be improved to realise their full potential.
