Religious pluralism is a prominent feature in West African societies, including Kenya. Inter-faith dynamics are crucial for understanding social cohesion and conflict resolution. A mixed-methods approach combining qualitative interviews with quantitative surveys was employed to gather data from diverse Kenyan communities. Data were analysed using thematic analysis for qualitative insights and descriptive statistics for numerical findings. Findings indicate that approximately 60% of respondents view religious diversity as a strength, while 40% perceive it as a potential source of tension. Key themes include inter-faith dialogue initiatives and community-based conflict resolution mechanisms. The study underscores the importance of fostering inclusive religious environments to mitigate negative perceptions of religious pluralism and promote peaceful coexistence. Policy makers should prioritise education on religious diversity, encourage inter-faith dialogues, and support community cohesion programmes in promoting harmonious social relations.
