Key Points
This research aims to assess the prevalence of peri-implant diseases and identify associated risk factors in a diverse Chinese population.
Conducted a multicenter cross-sectional study
Selected a diverse patient sample randomly across various locations in China
Collected data after an average follow-up of 6.65 years post-implant loading.
Found that the prevalence of peri-implant diseases was 40.4%
Indicated that this prevalence is relatively high within the studied population.
Abstract
In this randomly selected diverse patient sample within China, the prevalence of peri-implant diseases was moderately high (40.4%) after a mean follow-up duration of 6.65 ± 1.18 years post loading.
