This presentation provides an introduction to extrinsic data quality and the coping strategies that are suitable to address common extrinsic data quality issues. It covers how transparency and sharing can be implemented and gives a step-by-step overview of data transparency regulations. The concept of data management plans is explained and suitable tools and platforms are introduced to manage and implement open science principles in practice.
