What is the incidence of new AF/AFL and HF in patients with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy treated with mavacamten?
In a large cohort of patients with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy treated with mavacamten, new atrial fibrillation/flutter and heart failure occurred in 5% and 4% of patients over an 8-month median follow-up.
Over an 8-month median follow-up on mavacamten in patients with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, new AF/AFL and HF occurred in 5% and 4%, respectively. Further work is needed to better understand the expected incidence of AF/AFL, HF, and other long-term outcomes of mavacamten treatment in obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
