Among further details listed therein, the following information may be of special interest: Official languages will be Japanese (used only in opening and closing ceremonies), English, and French. Papers to be read in the scientific program should be submitted in both English and French and before August 31, 1965. Application forms for registration (50 fee for regular membership and 30 for associate members, i. e. , family members accompanying regular members, rising to 60 and 40 after March 31, 1965) will soon be mailed to offices of national pediatric associations. Registration must be made between July 1, 1964, and July 1, 1965. Plenary sessions will be devoted to I. Prenatal Pediatrics, II. Vaccinations against Virus Diseases, and III. Growth and Psychologic Development, with group sessions in twenty-one major fields of pediatric interest and panel discussions on thirty-three selected special topics.
