Export Introduction: Some persons are allergic to cosmetic items (such as soaps, lotions, face and eye makeup, scents). Allergies affect a large number of people, and they can strike at any age. Allergic reactions are an overreaction of the immune system to chemicals that are otherwise safe. An allergen can cause the immune system to produce chemical compounds like antibodies, which cause allergy symptoms. The majority of people are completely unaware of the risks that these substances represent. Allergy is one of the immune system’s drawbacks. The most frequent adverse reactions to cosmetics are urticaria, atopic dermatitis, itching, and red rashes on the skin. As a result, it is necessary to assess the efficacy of Ayurvedic medicines that can provide relief to patients suffering from skin allergies caused by cosmetics. Methods: A total of 90 patients with CosmeticInduced Skin Allergy were randomly assigned to one of two groups. There were 45 patients in each group. Local application of Shweta Chandanadi Lepa and internal use of Manjisthadi kwath were used to treat a group of skin allergy patients. The second group of patients was treated with Kinsukadi Tailam applied locally and Manjisthadi kwath administered internally. All the patients were evaluated for subjective parameters. Results and Conclusion: Statistical analysis was done after the intervention of therapies for 2 months. In overall assessment of therapy, also better results were observed by Group A drug over Group B. On analysing the results, it can be concluded that Shweta chandanadi lepa and Kinsukadi tailam along with Manjisthadi kwath are effective in Cosmeticinduced skin allergy.
