As an important material joining process, welding is particularly important for process control and digital monitoring of current and voltage parameters. In this paper, a wireless self-organizing network welding parameter monitoring system based on the Internet of Things is designed by using the ZigBee wireless communication protocol with short distance and low power consumption. Taking the on-chip system CC2530 including the 8051 microcontroller core as the core and selecting the appropriate Hall current and voltage sensor, the welding machine terminal module and the coordinator module are designed. The USB is used to communicate with the host computer and virtual instrument technology is adopted. The parameter acquisition and processing of the welding monitoring system has been successfully realized.
