Sustainable entrepreneurship is an important driver of economic growth and contributes to increasing national income.It promotes innovation encourages productive economic activities and supports positive structural changes in society.This form of entrepreneurship emphasizes the identification of new business opportunities and the development of innovative ideas that create economic value while simultaneously considering social welfare and environmental sustainability.Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) play a crucial role in promoting entrepreneurial activities particularly in developing economies.These enterprises encourage innovation provide employment opportunities with relatively limited capital investment and support balanced regional development.MSME also contribute to local economic growth by promoting industrial diversification and strengthening small business sectors.Government authorities have implemented various schemes and policy initiatives to strengthen the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and promote sustainable entrepreneurial activities.These programmes are designed to facilitate better access to financial resources,encourage the adoption of modern technologies and create a favourable business environment for small enterprises.This paper explores the concept of sustainable entrepreneurship and examines the role of MSME development schemes in promoting economic growth and employment generation.This study highlights that sustainable entrepreneurship can act as an effective pathway for strengthening MSME development and achieving sustainable economic progress.
