The manufacturing sector faces increasing pressure to integrate digitalization and sustainability through a synergistic approach known as Twin Transformation. Despite its growing strategic relevance, structured guidance for managing and assessing TT remains limited. This study aims to address this gap by developing a conceptual maturity model grounded in organizational design theory. We propose a framework based on an extended 5-Star Model, which includes six key dimensions to achieve TT in a manufacturing firm: Strategy, Structure, Process, People, Reward, and Technology. Through a systematic literature review and inductive analysis, the study identifies key capabilities necessary for effective TT implementation. The proposed conceptual framework contributes to the emerging literature on TT by providing a foundation for understanding and assessing organizational maturity in integrating digital and sustainable practices and serves as a starting point for future empirical research and the development of prescriptive and comparative TT maturity tools.
