A simple, low cost method for producing animated line drawings and figures in organic chemistry is presented. Animation panels are produced in ChemDraw, saved as PICT files and turned into QuickTime movies. These animations serve as a bridge between the text and more sophisticated modeling visualization tools now available. Along with details of production, use of the animations in the classroom is discussed.
