This report provides an in-depth gap analysis of the digital Research and Innovation needs identified through the project research. The 5 key needs summarized for the EU-SSA region included cultural and operational differences, funding, legal barriers and mismatches, need for enhancement of infrastructure such as reliable power and internet connectivity and software and hardware tools and the need for inclusivity and empowerment for women and youth.
