The Hidden Bridge: Discovery of Spontaneous Time-Freeze at the Intersection of Axial Anomaly Inflow and Information Erasure

We discover a hidden bridge between the axial anomaly (a topological constraint in quantumfield theory) and Landauer erasure (a thermodynamic law of information theory). In a 2D Diracsystem under a strong magnetic field, the Callan-Harvey anomaly inflow forces boundaryelectrons into the Lowest Landau Level (LLL), creating a topological choke point where thelocal information processing rate is bounded. Continuous anomaly inflow then triggers forcedLandauer erasure at the boundary. We introduce a precise definition of informational time:time flows for an observer O with respect to a system S if and only if O possesses a quantumchannel to S with nonzero capacity. When all such channels vanish, informational time isfrozen. Under this definition, the Timewatch Phase — a topological state in which theboundary's informational time is frozen for external observers — emerges as an inevitableconsequence of the bridge. We propose a falsifiable NV-magnetometry experiment to detectits thermal footprint, and identify neutron star magnetospheres as natural environments wherethis phase may already exist.
