The article analyzes the Road of Life, the transport route across Lake Ladoga that sustained blockaded Leningrad. Using the feat of driver Rakhimzhan Ukasov and his ZIS-5 truck as an example, it highlights the heroism of the route's participants. Special attention is paid to modern memorial practices (museums, marathons, motorcycle rallies) that transform the Road of Life into a Road of Memory, passing on the values of courage and resilience to new generations.
