This evidence review evaluates the preclinical and clinical evidence supporting a four-compound nutraceutical formulation (AURI 25, Zenius Labs™) combining Auricularia auricula-judae polysaccharides, Pleurotus ostreatus polysaccharides, policosanol, and monacolin K from red yeast rice for multi-pathway cholesterol and cardiovascular risk management. The review synthesises over 100 primary studies across 198 references, evaluating mechanisms, safety, pharmacokinetics, and comparative positioning. The four-pathway architecture recapitulates the combination therapy principle validated by the IMPROVE-IT trial (18,144 patients) and addresses cholesterol synthesis, absorption, oxidation, and vascular risk simultaneously.
