Pedestrian safety remains one of the most pressing issues in the world. According to research by road safety scientists and experts, road hazards are often created by people (both drivers and pedestrians). Therefore, it is essential to reduce the impact of the human factor. To implement this approach, increasingly intelligent vehicles and road infrastructure are being developed, as are measures to protect pedestrians through passive safety. We have developed a pedestrian classifier based on various characteristics (age, behavior pattern, aggravating factors). The relevance of this problem is increasing with the advent of autonomous vehicles and smart cities. Therefore, we propose using a modified Haddon matrix to organize pedestrian safety measures.
