This paper fixes irreversibility as a structural condition within a non-modal structural system. Irreversibility is not temporal and not sequential. No time or sequence is introduced. Irreversibility is not constituted by recovery. Recovery is not defined. Irreversibility does not follow and is not defined through reversal or succession. This fixation does not apply to physical time, temporal models, or irreversible processes in empirical systems. It does not describe empirical systems. Irreversibility is fixed as non-constitution of recovery.
