Various postictal phenomenon such as behavioural changes, Todd's paresis, amnesia, aphasia etc. are common accompaniments of epilepsy.Postictal mania is characterised by abnormally elated or euphoric mood with distractibility during the episodes. The subjects tend to show hyperactivity, pressured speech, decreased need for sleep, flight of ideas, grandiosity and hyper-religiosity congruent with mood.It is a rare entity that stands apart from the often reported postictal psychosis. Here we report a case of postictal mania in a26 year old nurse that eventually lead to not only his but the entire family's religious conversion.
