This study presents a surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrate with a glass/polymer/Ag(100 nm)/Ag-nanorod structure. The influence of laser wavelength on the Raman spectrum of phycocyanin was investigated. The potential of this substrate for analyzing complex protein complexes, such as phycocyanin, at concentrations as low as 10 μM is demonstrated.
