The study determined the strategies for postgraduate research supervision for quality output in the Business Education Programme in public universities in South-East Nigeria. Specifically, the study sought to determine the supervisor’s related strategies for postgraduate research supervision for quality output in the Business Education Programme in public universities and supervisees’ related strategies for postgraduate research supervision for quality output in the Business Education Programme in public universities in South-East Nigeria. A descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. A structured questionnaire design with a five-point Likert scale was used to collect data for the study. The data analysis was carried out using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The result revealed that there is no significant difference in the mean scores of Business Educators from State and Federal Universities regarding the supervisor-related strategies for postgraduate research supervision for quality output in the Business Education Programme in public universities in South-East Nigeria and also There is no significant difference in the mean scores of Business Educators from State and Federal Universities regarding the supervisee-related strategies for postgraduate research supervision for quality output in the Business Education Programme in public universities in South-East Nigeria. The study concluded that application of the supervisor- and supervisee-related supervision strategies would enhance the quality of postgraduate academic research output in the Business Education Programme in public universities in South-East Nigeria. The study recommended that public universities should conduct regular workshops and mentoring sessions to update supervisors on postgraduate supervision best practices, research ethics, topical guidance, and current methodological approaches in Business Education.
