The Superconducting Magnetic Levitation (SML) Method based on HTS (High Temperature Superconductors) and Rare Earth Permanent Magnets (PM), known since the end of last century, and even with its great advantage of stable forces, has not yet found a commercial application. This paper analyses the conditions that explain this reality and proposes an application to entertainment parks that could be a starting point to widespread use of MagLev trains based on the SML method.
