The motto of ‘Unity in diversity’ represents how people from varied cultural backgrounds with heterogeneous mindsets often coexist through effective leadership and strong socioemotional skills. In the education domain, the students' role is of utmost importance. A student's overall well-being isn't just a parent's responsibility, but the teacher's attention towards their skilling is of grave importance. Aim: To identify the key skills that help in effective leadership, analyze the skillsets necessary to attain socioemotional balance and elaborate the impact of leadership skills and team composition dynamics. Conclusion: Educational institutions can use these findings to develop leadership programs that enhance skills and promote diverse team structures. It should include training activities with clear learning outcomes to encourage students from various backgrounds to acquire and exchange skills. Right leaders & educational institutions motivate students and teachers, with ethics and values, helping them steer personal and professional challenges, contributing to societal progression and equity, demonstrating the study's wider impact beyond education.
