Abstract:Against the backdrop of academic dissemination transitioning from one-way publishing to socialized interaction,Journal of Vocational Education (ISSN 3080-8049, eISSN 3080-8057, CODEN: ZDABBU, DOI prefix: https://doi.org/10.66106/zdabbu) has recently been officially indexed by ResearchGate, the world's largest academic social platform. With over 20 million registered users covering nearly all research institutions globally, ResearchGate is often referred to as the "Facebook for researchers." Unlike traditional database indexing, the core value of ResearchGate lies in constructing a two-way dialogue mechanism between researchers and journals—researchers can follow journals, download papers, ask questions, and share insights, while journals can instantly obtain reader feedback, track paper impact, and identify emerging hotspots. Following its indexing by this platform, the journal will leverage this opportunity to extend its role from "content producer" to "community organizer," establishing direct connections with vocational education researchers worldwide. This article analyzes the profound impact of ResearchGate on journal dissemination models from the perspective of the evolutionary logic of academic social networks and elaborates on the journal's international interaction strategy.
