This study aimed to: identify the extent of commitment of faculty members at King Khalid University to the ethics of the teaching profession from the point of view of their students, and to detect whether there are statistically significant differences between the average responses of the study sample members about the extent of commitment of faculty members at King Khalid University to professional ethics. Teaching is due to the variables of gender, specialization, grade level, and grade point average. The study used the descriptive survey method, through a questionnaire that was applied in the first semester of the year 1443 AH, on (393) male and female students. The results showed the commitment of the faculty members at King Khalid University to “general teaching ethics” in most of its phrases, to a moderate degree, to “the ethics of the teaching profession during the educational process” in most of its statements to a weak degree, and to “the ethics of the teaching profession during student evaluation” to a medium degree. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the average responses of King Khalid University students according to the gender variable, while there were differences according to the variables of specialization, study stage, and rating rate in the direction of students of educational specializations, doctoral students, and students with the highest rating rate (4.50 - 5.00), the study recommended teaching "Professional Ethics" as a university requirement that all university students study at the undergraduate level.
